Born into a family of musicians, Jonas Fischer has been living through music his entire life. At a young age he began to compose short, distinctive melodies and ever since has looked to his surroundings for inspiration. Though he travels often, he is moved by the ordinariness of a moment and uses elements he encounters everyday as a basis for his music. 

Fischer has worked as a professional composer for over 15 years. In addition to his original compositions, he has lent his talents to the scores of twelve independent films, competed in international competitions, and collaborated with countless artists to make their ideas come to life. Fischer records his scores at the Vienna Synchron Stage, an historic studio which has played host to the world’s greatest composers of the past century. 

Fischer is currently based in Switzerland, but he travels wherever a project takes him. He spends significant time in New York, Los Angeles, Vienna, and Gstaad, Switzerland. Whether in the mountains or by the sea, there is always a melody to receive.
